Facilitator:
Lethokuhle Msimang, a South African poet and writer, born in Durban KwaZulu-Natal. Graduated with a B.A. in Literary Studies and Creative Arts at the American University of Paris. Her poems have appeared in New Coin Poetry, Hanging Loose, and The Paris/Atlantic. She is the founder of the South African Oral History Project, presently focused on the documentation of the Delville Wood Memorial and the role of South African Native Labour Corps. She is currently completing a book of linked short stories Tales of the Orange Time of Day.

WIFI Woman knows the WIFI password for every restaurant and café she walks into; Flower Man has the power to plant a flower in anything. Superheroes are not always glamorous, but all of them have a story to tell. This workshop will challenge participants to imagine superheroes of all kinds, and write them into existence through fiction and poetry.
